Freehold Township, NJ - Members of the Freehold Township Independent Fire Company, Station 16-1, train to attack propane fires. H&H Gas Co. first demonstrated how to approach a truck carrying propane that may have been involved in a motor vehicle accident and/or may be on fire. Next the firefighters were shown the different hardware they may encounter at a residence that uses propane fuel. The night concluded with firefighters fighting live burns similar to those that they may experience in there community.
